Hi, I'm the Long Hair Guy. From 15 years old to my 30's (present), I've had my hair long, then cut it three times. Twice 80% of it was donated to Locks of Love, the other time I was drunk and cut it at a party for 20 bucks and a 12 pack.
Anyhow, as a long-haired male, one of the questions we always get is "How long did it take you to grow your hair out man?" I never really knew.. I had an approximate idea, but I never really knew. I thought I'd keep track and find out, and I also decided to share it with you. I also felt I'd be doing long hair guys everywhere a big favor- now we can all just send people that ask to a website and say "Go there man." I'm also going to give you guys that are thinking about growing your hair out a feel for what kind of hell you're in for. Well kids, it appears after many years of growing it, cutting it, playing with unique styles etc., nature has determined that I will no longer be a long haired guy. My hair began getting very thin and breaking right where most men develop a bald spot, and it wouldn’t grow any longer. My hair has also been steadily receding in the front for some time, which brings us to your final long hair lesson.. know when to cash in your chips. Don’t be that guy with long hair, a high hairline in the front, and a shiny bald spot in the back- it’s just sad. Good luck friends, I’ll leave you with some fun long hair photos from over the years.
